T. A Boateng's Message PDF Print E-mail

On this memorable occasion of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Kumasi T. I. Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School,  I extend my hearty congratulations to the entire membership of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, the Board of Governor’s the Headmaster and the present and past staff as well as the present and past students, and then the Parent / Teacher Association of the School Permit me also to extend to you all the Islamic salutation of peace, namely, Assalamo Alaikkum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu – that is – May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you Amen.

The occasion brings into focus the dedicated and selfless service of the founding fathers of the school and especially of the ordinary members of the Mission whose humble contribution made the establishment of the school possible, and then of the various administrators who nursed the school from her humble beginning of 25 students to her present population of 11,500 students.  This is no mean achievement.  And for this achievement Ghana owes these benefactors and others unknown, a big debt of gratitude.  In the matter of selfless and devoted services in the cause of the school the following who ably distinguished themselves need special mention.  Alhaji Hassan Attah (MBE), Mallam Yusif and Opanim Muhmmad Gyasi.

It was these three important men who helped in the siting of the school in Kumasi Ashanti.  The first Pakistani Principal of the school Dr. S. B. Ahmad with his Assistant Mr. Saud Ahmad did a yeoman’s job in the school.  This appreciation of gratitude must also be extended to successive headmasters and their assistants the supporting staff of the past and present for the meritorious work they have done towards the progress of the school.  I salute also the present Board of Governors and P. T. A for their duty consciousness and hard work which helped to raise the image of the school to the present enviable state.

Finally I wish to advise that in the midst of your festivities, you should pause, reflect and look back on the past, and objectively assess your achievements and shortcomings and then find out appropriate remedies so as to ensure sustainable growth in future.  There is the need for all those concerned with the affairs of the school to rededicate themselves for the more arduous and challenging task ahead, as the school advances in years towards its Diamond jubilee.  Long live Real Amass, Long live Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission. And Long live Ghana.

Thank you and May Allah bless us all – Amen

T. A. BOATENG
